A majority of our shopping budget vanishes in clothes. Clothing is a commodity which entails a strong necessity and a wide culture. Perhaps, surveys have shown that more than 80% of the world population is excited while purchasing clothes rather buying other articles. Here is to a determination that, if we spend a good part of our income in clothing, why not spend it smartly?

The Purchasing Process

Shopping List

Buying clothes and fashion can be a scientific process. Sounds silly? Let’s turn this into logic as you read further. Purchasing shall be done knowing and anticipating your previous buys and core needs. Our shopping will result in a tool to cut down our clothing and fashion expenses if we could calculate which of the clothes are more usable and which ones we would meet only twice in a season. Buyers also tend to buy similar color and clothing types multiple times which later results in regretting and complaining over their wardrobe turned monotonous. They also blew away with super designs in the market and forgetting what they came to buy.

An emotional mistake

An emotional mistake

Take Serra’s case. She loved this white shirt gracing in the Zara store, it looked heaven on her too. No one could stop her buying this now, even if a population of 7 billion shouts “a no” at one go. Well, she made a mistake, which cost her some money too. The mistake where Serra has blown away with catchy designs, forgetting what she must have bought rather. If we tour Serra’s wardrobe, we will say hey to four white shirts hanging upfront in a row, we would also spectate kilos of clothes and two pairs of shoes, one of which she torn yesterday, dancing frantically. Serra gets ready for the work and realises her shoe has torn and starts rolling her eyes in mirror cursing for why did not she buy a pair rather vacating her pocket on a white shirt.

The science of buying which lacks in Serra’s decision was, she did not know what she sufficiently owned and what was in crises. People who don’t plan their target buying, suffer taking useless or things of comparatively less use at home. Our starting shopping hour must be dedicated to our core needs, and if we are too rich! let that wallet open to random but beautiful stuff out there.
