Here are 5 reasons why iOS seems a better option than Android!

When it comes to smartphones, the whole world is divided into 2 parts- the Android lovers and the iOS lovers. Both claim that one is better than the other, but the debate over Android and iOS never seems to settle down. There is no doubt that both these platforms are incredibly good and both excel in their own way, however, iOS is a platform that can outsmart Android in many ways. Here are 5 such ways where iOS totally beats Android.

Apps: iOS apps beat Android apps by a mile

Obviously, iOS has better looking, more stable and the latest apps on their App Store as compared to any Android device. Whenever a brand new app is set to launch, the Apple App Store is developers’ first preference always. This is because iOS apps make more money than their Play Store equivalent. Apps also release first on the App Store because it is easier to make an app for the iOS as the android version of the same app requires extra coding to achieve the same functionality. Most recent example of this is the Prisma app.

Usability: It is easier to use

Android based phones give us a number of customisation options. While it may be its biggest strength but it is also its biggest weakness. Android users can use fancy launchers to make their phone look pretty but most of them are not stable on every phone. There is no consistency. iOS, on the other hand offers consistency as their software are same across all their devices. This makes their phone stable and co-relatable across every iPhone user.

Updates: Instant Updates

Apple is an epitome of standardization and uniformity. When Apple releases a new iOS update, everyone gets the update, everyone means everyone. Apple controls every aspect of their operating system and because of this complete control, they are able to maintain quality and provide the stability that Android users crave for. Further, when Apple releases an update, it does not have to worry about third party manufacturers. They are very efficient when it comes to updating their devices; as a result, they are the first to address software glitches or any security vulnerabilities. Android users, on the other hand, have to wait for smartphone manufacturers to implement the latest update of Android which can take months and it is, let’s face it, damn irritating!!

Security: iOS based phones are more secure that Android-based phones phones

There is no doubt iOS is more secure than Android. In 2015, according to Mobile Threat Report, Pulse Secure estimated that over 95% of all malware is actually written for Android devices. Android users cannot upgrade to the latest of the operating system due to which it makes them an easy target. Android also has more devices running their operating system worldwide which makes them an easy target.

Lesser Ads on iOS

Apple devices have lesser intrusive ads in their apps as compared to Android apps. This is because Apple has a very rigorous process when it comes to approving apps that sell on their app store. This certainly is fruitful when you hate to be bugged by ads.

We do not support or oppose either iOS or Android but this is just a general observation that we have presented through our article. You should be the one to write the final judgement of this suite. Let us know your views in the comment box below.
